I had got as far as "I wonder if the openjdk is missing swing?"
Hopefully this is an easy fix with Synaptic.
I'll let you know how I get on but not bug you with questions about installing Java!

I tried to post in the Linux Specific support area and received a message saying that the post needed to be authorised. That was a couple of days ago.
Should I try posting again? Is is sitting on a moderation list somewhere or was it just plain wrong?
