Thanks for your reply valib.
As I mentioned, playback to the WD Live Hub is perfect, its playback within the MacBook Browser that is the issue.
Any further thoughts?

High Sierra Chrome Browser playback stutters
Firstly, having tried Plex and Emby, I want to stick with UMS but having this odd video playback on all browsers ie Safari, Chrome, Opera and Vivaldi!
