I am sorry but I did not understand your reply. It seems that UMS can do everything that Serviio can do and more and serviio can be controlled by a skill for Alexa. Can UMS not do this?

I currently use something similar - Serviio (free version) and you have to go PRO to use it with Alexa. I thought with a similar Alexa Skill it could control UMS in the same way?

I would use UMS if it had voice control.

I cannot find anything on this in the forum (I searched for the term Alexa) but I was wondering if their are any plans to create an Alexa Skill for voice control of UMS.
