Re: 11.1.1.1: The Oneness

I unfortunately am still getting... WARN Could not parse player id "FFMPEGHLSVIDEO" WARN Unknown transcoding engine "ffmpeghlsvideo" show up in log files, the same as what happened and i reported in version 11.0.0. Hopefully that can be fixed soon, otherwise the release seems to ...

Re: 11.0.0, tenth birthday, and what's next!

Re: Version 10.20.0 released

Same issue for me as both JDN165 and chickyboom unable to browse content at all using a Bravia TV and a Fire Stick, no content is found or it just times out when attempting to browse on either device. 10.19 I also confirm does not have the issue.

Re: Version 10.14.1 and 10.14.0 released

Has the exact same issue as 10.13.0 for me, viewing files in Vimu on a Fire Stick it refuses to sort file list of files into Alphabetical (A-Z) order despite that being selected in the Navigation settings. This happens in a directory/folder that contains a mixture of music, image and video files. Fo...

Re: Version 10.13.0 released

This version does not sort files into correct order for me. If i goto > Navigation settings > file order > and select Alphabetical A-Z it does not respect it When viewing files on Vimu and on a Bravia TV it sorts files by file type first, sorts those types alphabetically then sorts the next file typ...

Re: Version 9.5.0 released

All my experience is based on a Fire TV stick however.... Vimu is basically similar to VLC but has an additional engine built in allowing it to support other formats which can be enabled and disabled within its settings. VLC on Android TV (and variants) does not display image files for example JPEGs...

Re: Version 9.5.0 released

The addition of Vimu conf is a nice one, been using that on my fire stick for a while. A tip for development of that renderer though... The vimu renderer conf has been over complicated, there is no need to specifically list every "supported" video and audio type you can just use the... Str...
