Re: Help me with Transport Stream
Just to let you know that Serviio streams perfectly .TS videos to my Sony Bravia 2010 model as well as MiniDLNA which is installed by default on my AC-68U Asus router. I will provide log to help UMS developers.

Re: Help me with Transport Stream
As I said, the file plays just fine with miniDLNA on the same TV so the problem is not the renderer. Video and audio encoding are obviously supported by the TV.

Help me with Transport Stream
My Sony Bravia 2010 is capable to playback TS videos/AC-3 audio natively. I configured UMS 6.3.2 to skip transcoding for TS extensions. Somehow, UMS refuses to playback them "as is" and insists to transcode them. Under #--TRANSCODE--#, I tried No Transcode without success, I get the messag...

Samsung UN55HU6840 + StreamExtension
I have a Samsung 4K TV, model UN55HU6840 for which there is no profile. This TV supports almost all video formats. If I create a profile from scratch, do I need to specify the keyword StreamExtensions= to prevent natively supported formats to be transcoded?

Re: Sony Bravia EX devices broken again
I cannot get the latest UMS versions (6.6.0, 5.5.0, ...) to work with a Sony KDL NX 2010 serie. Videos that work perfectly with version 5.1.0 do not work anymore from 5.2.0 and up. According to this thread, this is rather an old issue. Any pointers to solve the problem would be very much appreciated...

Yep, it works just fine and I had '\u' as in \uTorrent. Thanks.infidel wrote:There was an additional problem caused by paths containing '\u', e.g. 'c:\util'. Try the new patch if this applies to your situation, or post logs if not .

Re: Version 5.0.0-a1 is released
Yeah, double subtitles issue on my Bravia TV is fixed, such an improvement, thanks a bunch!!! However the patch above to solve unicode character problems in path names does not work for me, I am on Windows XP. I moved the file update.jar into "C:\Program Files\Universal Media Server" and n...

Re: Double Subtitles
Same issue here with my Bravia KDL-60NX810. However, if I untick "Defer to MEncoder when transcoding subtitles" under FFmpeg video engine, it works fine.
