Oh! You can do that? Won't that affect owners of the other LG TVs? LA6200, LA644V and LM620?
Anyway, it will surely work for me, so no complains here :D

Re: Version 5.0.0 is released

Hello, congrats for the new version! There is an issue though. UMS version 5.0.0 is not choosing the right renderer for my TV. It is a LG 42LS5700-SB, I had provided a conf file for it and it was included with this version, which is awesome =) But it is not choosing the right conf file. I had used t...

Re: Universal Media Server (Select Profile) Does not Exist

As far as I can tell (I could be wrong) that shortcut is just the same as the default one with the addition of the 'profiles' flag. I've never used it, but creating a shortcut to your UMS.exe file adding ' profiles' after it should work Example Target: "C:\Program Files\Universal Media Server\U...

Re: Help us improve support for your devices

TV: LG 42LS5700-SB Using a conf file I made (LG-LS5700.conf) which is original copied from LG-LM660.conf on git source , changing UserAgentSearch based on LG-LA6200.conf (the one it was matching) and adding LoadingPriority = 1 SupportedExternalSubtitlesFormats = SUBRIP,TEXT,ASS,MICRODVD SupportedInt...

Re: Error browsing TRANSCODE, NPException on Log + other thi

I hadn't noticed this response until now, sorry!

I could try some of this again, not everything exactly since I no longer have the files I used for different tests.
Should I try it with the latest stable version, or go directly to the 5 beta?

Re: Error browsing TRANSCODE, NPException on Log + other thi

Sorry for the bump, the thread got pushed beyond the first page and I was wondering if perhaps something is missing with this report so it's not getting addressed?
Is there some better place to report something like this?
Thanks!

Re: SUbtitles problem - LG TV

Sorry guys but it seems to me that LG TVs don't support streaming subtitles via DLNA or we don't know how the support is done. In that case only transcoding is working. I will fix the code to not show {EXTERNAL SUBS} for renderers not capable of this feature. I believe I got subtitles to work on my...
