Re: PlayStation Vita 'Network Media Player' App Support
I've been doing some more reading on the trace logs, could it be that the audio is not playing instead of the video? I'm pretty sure that the Windows Media Streaming as well as the Vita's Content Manager Assistant both stream the file without any modification. TRACE 2014-11-04 13:58:43.865 [New I/O ...

Re: PlayStation Vita 'Network Media Player' App Support
Yeah, the Vita's normal video player app does show some info on it (like the PS3), however the Network Media Player shows nothing.

Re: PlayStation Vita 'Network Media Player' App Support
I might have to do some reason on getting information on the type of file that is sent to the Vita. Unfortunately the app doesn't support WMV files.

Re: PlayStation Vita 'Network Media Player' App Support
The profile didn't work unfortunately, the normal windows media server built into windows works however. Might be of aid in debugging.SubJunk wrote:How about if you use this conf (still using the installation I gave in the last post)

Ah okay, just making sure I didn't spent time making the profile, and then someone else is credited. I'll try the updated UMS and profile out when I get home.

Re: PlayStation Vita 'Network Media Player' App Support
@xubz: thx. xubz, the Network Media Player supports 1080p video at 30 FPS, no need to change the resolution to the Vita's native display. Smaller Resolution > faster encoding Not necessarily, and why limit other people who enjoy 1080p. I personally have been using UMS to stream 1080p movies for a l...

xubz, the Network Media Player supports 1080p video at 30 FPS, no need to change the resolution to the Vita's native display. I've updated the Custom Configuration Profile to V2, Changelog: - Fixed UMS PS Vita Device Icon - Videos are now being detected, and thumbnails are viewable thanks to xubz. N...

Re: Help us add support for your renderer
Hey Guys
I was wondering if anyone could help out with getting PS Vita 'Network Media Player' support working. I have started a thread (viewtopic.php?f=5&t=2402) and have attached 5.0.0-a1 trace logs.
Thanks
Hamish

Re: PlayStation Vita 'Network Media Player' App Support
I started a new thread as yours was rather vague and you clearly didn't read the thread 'How to ask for support' by SubJunk, which is also conveniently located at the top of the forum page.Balmung wrote:Yeah, thx, but I have already started a Topic about that only one Topic under yours...
