Ok, just tried 6.7.4 and it seems to be working. The shared folders and settings I had added manually to the .conf file where there and I got no errors. Web interface works. Will try the tv later and let you know if there's any problems. Thanks for the help!

I will try that later. I did try 6.7.4 also, It did not work either but told me to delete my media database. I did that but no luck, I'll try that again also and post the logs later if I can't get anything working. Thanks.

Just installed Ubuntu 17.1 and UMS 7.0 but get errors and UMS not working. Logs are attached. Let me know what I could do? I previousley had UMS 6.5 on Ubuntu 16.04, Tried 6.5 now too but didn't work either. Thanks in advance.

I'm just wondering why I have problems playing some .mp4 files through UMS? All of them play on my pc with VLC. Even if my sony tv doesn't support a particular audio shouldn't UMS then transcode it and play it? They load up and seem to start but then just hang there blank. No messages or anything.

I'm not sure if I was on 5.1.0 at that time. I finally just ran wire and eliminated the wifi. No more problems with disconnecting

update, ums is running great now. Not sure what that java error was but it stopped after I quit and restarted the application. I did add it to the startup applications and that works as well except the first time it started it did not find my media folders. Once I re-started the server it found them...
