Re: PC 'Stuttering' after UMS running for a while
Ok so it's just a false positive. i added my ums folder to MWB's allow list (exclusion from scan) and now my pc doesn't freeze anymore. The devs should submit UMS to Malwarebytes for analysis and they'll tell you why it's happening. Report a false positive to Malwarebytes Support Until this problem ...

Re: Landing folder
ok i get it now, this landing folder thing is ums' root folder and it won't ever display the content of a folder, even if it's just 1 path entered in ums navigation pane. to test this i made a new share on my nas that points directly into the stuff_watch folder and it didn't help. well i guess now w...

Re: Landing folder
The problem is that when I'm testing this, it doesn't behave the way you describe. I've replicated your setup as exactly as I can, even using IP address for the share instead of computer name, and my result looks like this: This is exactly what I'd expect, and it's still unclear to me if UMS has a ...

Re: Landing folder

but it shouldn't be that hard to fix. just substitute one folder for another to the renderer.
i men, clearly it's not just me, it's everybody, so why not make your users happy.

Re: Landing folder
What about if you use the share "name" instead of the IP address. Like: \\sharename\tv\new stuff tried and same. Other things you could try is to change: \\192.168.1.50\tv\new stuff To: "\\192.168.1.50\tv\new stuff" Change: the new stuff folder name to new_stuff And change the t...
