For foreign people this might come in handy. Like me
opensubtitles.org has an API to retrieve subtitles. The index the video files by a hash unique to a video file. Would be really great if this could be integrated.

If I play NON ac3 streams, and go through the Transcode folder, then I end up with a A52 stream.

I played the stream through the vlc player. The vlc player is using the same profile as the iPhone.
The codec info dialog shows a "A52" track.

How can this work. UMS ist simply creating a new database folder .
Now I am not using a custom config file, because the standard config already has the line "TranscodeAudio = WAV". Anything I play within the "Transcode" folder ist being recognized as ac3/A52.

Hello I am having the same issue with this wonderful tool. I played around the setting a lot. But no chance. I use the iphone(VLC app) and I created a config file to override the standard settings. The different changes to the configurations do something. Meaning I know that changes have an effect. ...
