Well - I didn't run into it again. However.. I also decided it was time for me to migrate my media server over to Linux. So - I probably won't see it again.
Just wanted to mention that!
Thanks for the responses to this.

Re: Database errors
I looked through ums.conf again. Found the logging section and set it to 'all'. I suspect that's going to generate a lot of data? Would 'trace' be sufficient? I'm not pressed on disk space, so I'll leave it to ALL for the time being. # Log Level # --------------------- # The root logging level, a ro...

Re: Database errors
It did actually - just happened to me again last night. Was able to quickly get UMS up and running by just deleting the database files. The debug log claimed that database logging is off. I didn't see any option in ums.conf to enable it. I do see a number of errors in the debug.log - but far as I ca...

Database errors
I just updated to 9.8.1 (Build 2020-09-05) - and it was working just fine for a couple of days - but now I'm getting a ton of database errors. Not sure what happened - I managed to fix this by just deleting the database files in C:\ProgramData\UMS\database and resetting the configuration options. Bu...

Re: Sony Bravia does not recognizes UMS
UMS 6.6.0 recognizes the TV, but the TV (Sony KDL-42W653A) does not lists it as a server. What to do? Tzah Might want to try to go to the settings, remove all of the media servers and try to find it again. I have two Sony BluRays as DLNA clients and they are the buggiest damn things.. I don't know ...

Re: Win 10 Creator (1703)
I completely uninstalled Java using Revo Uninstaller, then reinstalled. It works now. @tub0crisco Your method would most likely have worked for me also. ;) Thanks for the info - same issue here. I tried just re-installing UMS, but that didn't work. Removed both UMS and Java8, rebooted and re-instal...

Limit Media to Specific Renderer
Is it possible to restrict certain folders to a specific rendering device?
It wouldn't matter if a new shared folder was needed or not - just curious if this is possible at all?
