Thanks for posting the solution! I was stuck on 5.2.3 because of this error and couldn't open any newer version.

There's something strange in the latest OS X release. I got 10.11.1 and if I download 5.3.0 and copy it to Applications folder I can't open it, because I get error saying that the app can't be opened. If I open it directly in the package or rename it, it works fine. I had exactly the same issue with...

I got 2 MacBooks Pro (one from 2010 and one from 2014 - both have the latest OS X version) and when I run UMS on both they both see my TV, but my TV sees only one of them... If I can post some logs/java version/whatever to help solve this issue, let me know.
