Re: Java 8

got it working now. There was a very, very long list of "Java" allowed in the Firewall, but each one had to be opened manually to see exactly which version it was for. In the end, 141 (and now 144) were set to private allowed, but not public. I recently started using a VPN which is setting my connec...

Re: Java 8

Java 8 build 141 broke it for me.
I rolled back to Java 8 Build 131 and its working again normally.

with 141, my devices would no longer find the server. In the log there was also no information that a connection was even being attempted.

Re: Falling Skies

I was satisfied with this series, and very happy that it had a solid ending with no cliff hanger.

Fully played action - extended functionality

"Move file to a different folder" works fine, but I would like to see a possibility to move the file to a structure for example, if I am watching tutorials that are saved like this: d:\videos\tutorials\outdoor\firestarting.mp4 d:\videos\tutorials\gardening\tomatoes.avi d:\videos\music videos\2-medit...

Pin Access to specific folders

the idea came to me last night: Adding a PIN or password to a specific shared folder to allow access to it. Could be used for making sure the kids or guests aren't watching something they aren't supposed to see. Yes, you could also protect your porn folder with a pin, but I was thinking primarily of...

Re: Add "Cover Art" for Folders (not just files, mp4/mkv/etc)

I am really interested in this feature as well.
Would be great if my youngest son could navigate through the folders by recognizing the pictures to his favorite movies and series.

Re: Widnows 10

I upgraded all of my systems to Windows 10, and ended up with some Networking problems. It was a mix of the Windows Firewall and the Virus Scanner in the end, and could not be resolved quickly. I was not able to reach other computers in my network, network shares, network storage, or the UMS I did a...

Re: The Walking Dead

We enjoy this series as well. At first I thought "meh, another zombie flick". After we had watched the first episode when it started, even for a low budget series, they really made an impact.

Re: Stargate Universe

I really enjoyed watching the series, and I am just as disappointed that the series stopped. I wish they would at least let them finish the series in a 2 hour final to give it some closure. Anything is better than the way it was left incomplete.
