Re: PS4 transcoding problems

@mik_s Thank you very much for your log !!!
It is not transcoded as it should, i still need to check why, so it is transcoded to MPEG2/MP2 in a MPEG-PS container, and as it use the AC-3 bitrate for encoding the MP2, FFmpeg fail.

Re: Audio stop then video stops and playback ends

Don't forget to do the same test with the Sony BD player ONLY on your network, meaning shutdown the PS3.

Re: Version 6.7.4 released

@jaapie Are you kidding ? or you've never read your manual ? It never did: http://manuals.playstation.net/document/en/ps3/current/video/filetypes.html It's just that UMS encapsulate it in a LPCM stream. So, just apply the same settings into your renderer's configuration file if you want the same res...

Re: GitHub attachments

@bouncyman Could you use the latest 6.x.x version with a clean install, without modifying anything.
And if you still get issue, please post a new trace log.

You've set an IP filter that block UMS server, so you could just remove it.

Re: Help us improve support for your devices

@zappie By real DVD, i was meaning when your put your buyed or burned DVD disk into your DVD reader, that should be added to your shared folder in UMS, that you can browse and play directly from you TV. No ISO files, no virtual disk. As i'm not an english native, i could have not choosed the correct...

Re: Help us improve support for your devices

@zappie Thanks for confirming it, only DVD ISO (mounted DVDs). Real DVDs, physical discs, play fine. That is definitively a UMS bug, that as never been reported before, AFAIK. But the fact that you used PMS 1.90.1 make me think that it has been broken very long time ago, or you'll have used a more r...

@hannesm "Web" folder is only displayed if you have selected "Enable external network" in the "General Configuration" tab from the GUI.

Re: HiDPI scaling, fonts too small to read

@deerewright Could the use of Java 7 instead, as it doesn't have this weak HiDPI support at all, solve your displaying issue ?
That was my 2 cents.

Re: Help us improve support for your devices

@zappie Do normal, standard DVDs display and play fine ?

Because from what you've forgotten to say, your issue seem ONLY ? related to DVDISO.
