Hi, I am looking to play videos on my Amazon Firestick. I have both Kodi and VLC. I can play videos but my issue is when I use subtitles, the transcoded video is not able to seek. That makes sense.

Once it gets to the 3 second mark (all that the renderer recognizes), the video stops as if fully played.

Did I capture the log incorrectly or was it just the way it happened to capture? My wife is watching TV now but i will Tryu to capture more logs later on. Happy Holidays!

Likewise, if i use the Seekbytime= true setting (which I would prefer to use), it starts from the beginning but only shows the video is like 3 seconds long. Maybe you can help from that angle? Hi all, Is there any new advice out there? When the TV is set to SeekByTime = Exclusive, the seek is great but the video won't start before 4 seconds into the video. When the TV is set to SeekByTime = true, it starts at the correct time but i cannot seek because the TV thinks the video is 2 seconds ...

Other ideas? Has anybody else experienced this? Or the incorrect calculation of video run time (eg displays 0:04 instead of 22:25)? Thanks guys.

I "figured it out". I did not restore the TV to factory settings but just went through the "1,2,3" setup options which is a lighter version. Everything working like before. Thanks all!
