Re: Files not visible

The problem has been fixed for the mp4 and mkv files where some were not showing. This is for a LG BD-550 Blu Ray player. I changed the renderer conf file: #Supported = f:mp4 v:h264|mp4|mpeg1|mpeg2|vc1 a:aac|ac3|dts|mpa|mp3|wma m:video/mp4 Supported = f:mp4 v:h264|mp4|mpeg1|mpeg2|vc1 a:aac|aac-he|ac...

Files not visible

Just noticed that some .mp4 and .mkv files are not showing up at all in my media player (LG BP550).
When I use the UMS browser interface, the files show but when played I get an "Unsupported Video Type" error.
Can anyone shed any light on this?
Thanks

Re: UMS 6.5.0 Rocks

I second that. With the help of SubJunk (new renderer for LG Blu Ray) and the 6.5.0 upgrade UMS running on my Linux Gentoo system is running very sweet.

Re: Version 6.5.0 released

I noticed that all or most of the renderer conf files (in Linux version) have "LoadingPriority=1". I believe the default is 0 (LoadingPriority=). We can make or priority a higher number though but I am not sure if the =1 is by design or an oversight. EDIT: After looking back over a few old...

Re: UMS Unable To Start

I might have given you the wrong start command. I haven't used Debian Linux (perhaps others with Debian experience could help), but it looks as though your system uses systemctl. I think the start command might be: systemctl start /opt/ums/UMS.sh and systemctl stop /opt/ums/UMS.sh But maybe you were...

Re: Problem since 6.4.0

Hi SubJunk, The Rose plays perfectly. Fast forward reverse etc is also perfect with the rose. With Jonah Hex, it plays for about half a second then freezes but the audio keeps playing fine. If I fast forward, the video shows but just going faster. If I then press play, again it plays for about half ...

Re: UMS Unable To Start

I am assuming that you are running UMS as root and not as a user. If you are not running it as root, then let us know. From your debug log I can see you have it installed in: /opt/ You could try running UMS by not starting it up from the init script. Run this from the command line and see if UMS sta...

Re: Problem since 6.4.0

Hi SubJunk, That did fix the problem with the movie "The Mummy Resurrected (2014)". I tested all the files again and there is one more file I am having a problem with. I also tested it with the version of LG-BP550.conf before the latest change and it also did not play correctly. I must hav...

Re: Problem since 6.4.0

Hi SubJunk,

I copied only the AVI files to a new directory and browsed that folder.
I also tried to play the problem file which is: The Mummy Resurrected (2014)
Log file is attached.

Cheers
