Stream internet radio to Xbox 360?

I am trying to stream internet radio to my Xbox 360. The only issue is that the Xbox does not recognize the cache at all. I have rebuilt it multiple times, but it refuses to load. No errors were generated by Universal Media Server. I cannot even play music files to it! This has been an issue for a w...

Re: Chromecast

That dongle is not even for sale yet according to my knowledge. Secondly, I've already heard of an Android apps in development that converts DLNA into Chromecast protocol. Thirdly, does that Dongle also support regular network file browsing? Back to the point, all you would need to do watch a file o...

Re: LG BD 390

WOW, I never thought someone else would try to get UMS working on a player this old. I did get a config file working for it, but only by force trans-coding everything. I can't even remember what I trans-coded everything to; I gave up over a year ago due to trans-coding quality loss. Can't remember w...

Re: Chromecast

According to what I've read, it doesn't support DLNA, but it does have an SDK.

Re: Problem detecting xbox after PC restarts.

Go to Network Settings, Test Connection to the PC and have the Xbox run the test, both during and after the test it will scan for DLNA server. The Xbox is pain to connect to, however, once you establish a connection, and access the media server, the Xbox will save this connection so that it will aut...

Re: Support for .WTV format (Windows Media Center Recorded T

Hmm, according to the multimedia wiki, FFmpeg has a .WTV muxer since 2011. Have you tried using that as your engine? This should work as a the video codec for WTV is the mpeg-2 standard and the audio codec is either mpeg-1 or ac3 according to wikipedia. So give ffmpeg a go and see if it works. Other...

Re: ffmpeg vs tsmuxer

I am curious how is ffmpeg any better? I thought mencoder utilized ffmpeg along with other codecs, so doesn't that mean that any advantageous features that are added to ffmpeg supplement mencoder's features? Just curious as I really I want to make sure I am getting the best possible transcoding qual...

Mencoder Video Filter Help

So I tried to rewrite the config for Mencoder to use the gradfun video filter as I would really appreciate the ability to use a debanding filter. I attempted to this with Avisynth but whenever I play Avisynth/Mencoder the playback is about 20-100x faster than the video allowing for a chimpmunk like ...

Chatroom?

I thought a chat room would be nice. Might help with quick debugging as opposed to waiting for hours for someone to respond on the forum. Also would encourage people to stay online more as they can talk to people in real time. Would be a great aid for collaboration as well. Just a thought. Even some...
