I did a new clean install with all defaults.
Seems to work fine now.
I just don't know what radio button I clicked to mess my install up.

MP4 files not found by TV
UMS installed just fine and when I select linked devices on my LG 55LA9650UA I see the UMS. I select it and see the movie folder containing the MP4 files. I click on the movie folder and after several minutes of loading, it reports "This folder is empty". I get the same result on my iPhone...
