Re: Version 9.0.0-b1 released

Hi, thanks for the release, but why going to 9.0.0? Could have been 8.5.0 too. Or is it due to the java thingie? I hope you won't inflate release numbers like Mozilla did with firefox. From 5.0 to 7.0 it took 3 years, From 7.0 to 9.0. about one and a half. yes it's because of Java, it is a ma...

Re: Why no more plugins?

Hi rbrown3,

All of the plugins had been abandoned and it didn't seem like anyone would fix them or make new ones in the future, and I think only 2 of them even worked anymore. We would bring them back if someone wanted to make a plugin.

Re: CPU load issue after Windows startup

I haven't had this happen since using the standalone build, so it may have been related to a newer version of Java

The standalone Windows x86 version is bundled with the x64 version of Java. When I try to run it with the x86 Java Runtime, it simply does not start.

It also only includes ffmpeg64.exe.
Thanks for reporting this. I am currently working on a fix

Re: After updating Win10, UMS stops working

Yes if the program is still visible on the computer but just not showing up on the TV, and a OS restore fixes it, it is likely a firewall configuration issue. You could try removing the firewall entries for javaw.exe and then it should re-prompt you. Make sure you give it full permissions like publi...
