Re: Channels Plugin

Getting DLNA protocol error 2110 when I go into a map where the files for a program should be. It just says "No files" where the file for the show should be while I get the DLNA error. Same thing is happening for me for the Youtube, NaviX and RTMPgui channels as well. It's possible a recent UMS upd...

Re: Jumpy Plugin (2 Feb 2013)

This is what comes of posting instructions without first verifying that they work :). You're right, the issue of coexisting with pmsencoder needs tweaking but I would point out that as it happens: the twitch fix is no longer required if ffmpeg has librtmp (disable pmsencoder and try it). Yeah, but you can test-drive the upcoming subs support right now: disable pmsencoder in the transcoder tab, save, and shut down. Awesome, subs are working. Thanks for letting me test this out. It makes CR so much better on PS3 when I can view it this way vs. using their APP. Question(s): 1. If I di...

Re: Channels Plugin

kuroukage - It was security course. Real cool. Yes there are some CHannels that are outdated. But I had a walk through and most still works... Which ones still work and which ones are problematic when you last tried? The only ones I can seem to get working properly are Youtube (but it has folder li...

Re: Mencoder vs. ffmpeg

The main difference in our implementation of both engines as of UMS 2.3.0 is that FFmpeg doesn't do subtitles. We are working on adding that. Question(s): Why doesn't FFmpeg support subtitles in UMS? Is it because of FFmpeg itself or something that needs to be changed in the code of UMS? Or perhaps...

Re: Movies from this week

Django Unchanged was awesome. As are all QT movies. I think I liked the "killin' nazis" one better though. Pitt's character was my favorite in that movie. :P

Re: Justified

The first season turned out to be pretty good. I haven't been watching since because I've had a lack of interest in most TV shows. Hows the show now? Is it worth catching up on?
