There's a (somewhat outdated) manual on the Help tab. Most settings are at their best values by default though, 99.9% of users don't need to change anything. So I guess your issue is a bug in the program, in which case viewtopic.php?f=9&t=556

If you want to always use FFmpeg you can go to the Transcoding Settings tab and select FFmpeg and use the arrow buttons in the lower left to give it top priority. I don't suggest that though because MEncoder is better for subtitles. So my suggestion is to do what I said in my first post (use the TRA...

You can try playing your videos with the FFmpeg engine via the TRANSCODE folder, since FFmpeg should transcode faster than MEncoder

Ah I see, yeah it's because it's sending the raw file to your TV. It's something we need to fix in the code. In the meantime it should work to edit your file "SamsungAllShare.conf" and remove "mkv," from the "StreamExtensions" line, line 48.

The problem is the maximum memory buffer setting. You have it set to 1452 so set it lower. The recommended setting is 200
