Just thought I'd let you know I seem to have resolved my problem by using Revo Uninstaller to uninstall UMS completely. It found many files being left behind. Then I did a fresh install of 6.5.2 and my m4a files are playing fine again, at least for now.

Since upgrading to UMS 6.5.2 I can no longer seem to play back m4a files. MP3 still works fine. m4a does not seem to even be reading the tags correctly as the menu in my Yamaha smartphone app is showing the actual file names for these types of files instead of just the track number and name like all...

I recently updated to 6.5.2 and I also cannot play m4a files. MP3 plays fine, but m4a always lists as unreadable on my receiver. I use the smartphone app for my Yamaha receive to see the list of media from the server and I've noticed that the MP3 song names are just the track number and name as norm...

I tried that the last time this happened and the result was the same. Still had to delete the folder to get it to launch.
