I guess you should try both renderer profiles and see which works best. You could look in the config files themselves and see what's different, and then test that or those features. I really don't know which profile should be used, and I doubt very many others do. What does it autodetect to?

I don't have the full overview over the ports needed. It's not UMS that dictates this, but the DLNA/UPnP standard. It's based on multicast of UDP packages.
