Re: Help with PAL anamorphic renderer
Sorry this is a special case we didn't anticipate. We assumed that we should scale or pad only to aspect ratio 1,777 (16/9) not to 1,25. You can try to add to your renderer .conf OverrideFFmpegVideoFilter = scale=iw*min(720/iw\\,576/ih):ih*min(720/iw\\,576/ih)\\,pad=720:576:(720-iw)/2:(576-ih)/2 Kee...

Re: Version 5.2.1 is released
Paradox it is not true that UMS is instead of MPEG-PS transcoding to MPEG-TS. The problem is that your TV doesn't properly recognize the transcoded format file extension (.vob) which was added but your TV recognizes it as MPEG-TS. The transcoded stream format was untouched and is still MPEG-PS. On t...

Re: Problem to play .mkv files on Panasonic DMP-BDT500
Thanks for the info. The subs file looks good. Can you try to go back to the UMS V.4.3.1 play the same file and send the log? I would like to realize if the problem is the FFmpeg version or there is something bad in our code. Thanks.

Re: Sony Bravia EX devices broken again
Thanks Paradox but the bug I made myself. I didn't assume that some renderers not have to know the .vob extension (which is also the MPEG-PS format and in reality is used for transcoding to MPEG-PS) and know only the general .mpg extension.

Re: Problem to play .mkv files on Panasonic DMP-BDT500
The problem is in external subtitles file which the ffmpeg is unable to parse. They may be corrupted or so. Can you send this subtitles here to check what is wrong?

Re: PS4 now support DLNA!
If you want to help us because nobody of developers have the PS4 device can you go to UMS version 5.2.1, reproduce the bug and send the log? Otherwise we are blind and we are only guessing what is wrong. On the other hand PS4 users should contact Sony and ask them why they don't follow the DLNA stan...

Re: enable mkv subtitles embedded without transcode
The basic question is if your TV supports embedded subtitles for video streamed via DLNA. My Panasonic TV works for streamed videos in the same way like for videos from USB. About Loewe I don't know anything.
