ok, PMS 1.72 buffer fills in less than 5 seconds, usually before the 360 gets past the "opening" message, playing fine: http://pastebin.com/KkShR294

I always keep the latest FFMPEG installed from here... http://ffmpeg.zeranoe.com/builds/ x64 works on PMS 1.72

I didn't mess with mencoder, however I have tried the stock FFMPEG and as well as the newest x64 bit version, behavior doesn't change...

try PMS v1.72, the latest UMS and PMS do the same thing on my 360, I think they are working on it...
