Re: New Option 'Resume'

Yep also some renderers don't remember the position like the PS3 does

Re: Starting-Stopping Issue Slow to actually play

You can try unticking "Remux videos with tsMuxeR" in the MEncoder section of the Transcoding Settings tab

Re: Asterisk in the filenames of Media

I don't think we do add the asterisks, they are added by the PS3 itself, unless I'm missing something SharkHunter?
I just checked and the asterisks are there on the PS3 but not on my other renderers.

Re: Starting-Stopping Issue Slow to actually play

Alpha 2 hasn't been released yet, that must be a pre-release.
Anyway it's not a bug, it's just that we have to play the video before sending it sometimes to get the data, and sometimes we have to do it a few times because of lag by third-party programs.

Re: Optimization under Linux (VDPAU)

Hi NaMoUr, by default MEncoder (MPlayer) is used for transcoding :)

Re: Profile, preset and tune encoding parameters

Hi David75. The profile has no effect on quality, only on filesize and compatibility. The only thing that affects quality is CRF value (Constant Rate Factor). In the next release we will have better support for tweaking x264 quality.

Is it working now? I suspect it was just a server outage

Re: Moving OS-X to Java 7 as default

I think I would rather stay on the different OS X path for now. It's no problem for me to maintain it and we can revisit later.

Re: No sound on some files in new version

Hi John Klein, sorry for the late reply, I had the flu. Please try these versions too, I'm just trying to find out in which version the bug first appeared: http://mplayer-subjunk-builds.googlecode.com/files/MPlayerMEncoder-SB44.zip http://mplayer-subjunk-builds.googlecode.com/files/MPlayerMEncoder-S...
