Re: renderer file for Bravia's
I think you know exactly what i mean . If i tell you, that anything that is not 14:9 or 16:9 or 4:3 , get squeezed/scaled on the telli.. and that if i add the solution YOU suggested, then it all works correct. ( hence why i thought you knew what i meant ) You can't take my word for that? :P or even ...

renderer file for Bravia's
Should the Apect Ratio fix (mencoder -vf expand) not be applied the Bravia Configs as default? (and other devices that will scale/squeeze content)

Re: Icon/text on device
I actaully havent tried it with UMS, but it could be done with PMS, i think it's still possible. WinRar can edit jar files, so thats what i used. (Before you can do anything, you need to make sure that UMS is closed down completely . If not, you can not edit the necesary files) 1. Open UMS.jar with ...

Re: Missing subtitles since v 2.x [2.2.4]
Thanks ExSport Ok, i can see that if have a file with multi language, i might need a priority syntax. I basically wan't english language + untagged external srt file ( which will be danish, but sometimes english ) so - if i understand it correct, i should be able to use eng,und But what if the file ...

Re: Missing subtitles since v 2.x [2.2.4]
Hmml, i'm not sure, but I don't think so. My srt's are untagged, so putting da,und won't help me.Madoka wrote: Perhaps if you replaced Eng with your language of choice, it would work?

Re: Missing subtitles since v 2.x [2.2.4]
I would say no, you'd need to have .srt's or .subs, and let UMS transcode with mencoderAxcio wrote:EDIT: just spoke with samsung support, apparently they do not support embedded subtitles. Is there any way around this or am I forced to use SRT's/hardcode

Re: Missing subtitles since v 2.x [2.2.4]
Hi Axcio, thanks for backing me up on this :) Since ExSport mentioned the language/subtitle -priority thingy, i found out that it definately played a role. (All of the sudden) For now i actually have it working as i would expect. I simply emptied the default settings having both "Subtitles lang...

Re: Missing subtitles since v 2.x [2.2.4]
I'm able to play a movie with external .srt subtitles that has embedded subtitles in a language I can't understand. I have it set up like you presented as movie.mkv with movie.srt. Ok, interesting. maybe it's only embedded eng subtitles that will override external <movie>.srt ? (because of the subt...

Re: Missing subtitles since v 2.x [2.2.4]
Ok, well i think there's still a problem. Or atleast a priority issue. It seems like UMS prefers the embedded subtitle over the external. My argument is that, if a user did the effort to find/download a specific subtitle as SRT, then that should be preferred over the embedded. (If the embedded were ...
