Re: Stuttering on every video / Broken seeking (LG 49NANO)
I would modify the UserAgentSearch and UpnpDetailsSearch in the LG-WebOS.conf file as a starting point so your TV uses this file. You could try changing the UserAgentSearch to: LG. (w|W)ebOS TV|LG (W|w)ebOSTV|[LG] webos TV|LG webosTV|LGE webos TV And the UpnpDetailsSearch to: LG. WebOS TV|LG WebOSTV...

Re: UMS won't play long file names
Although I am running Linux, I made a folder (7 sub folders) which was 370 characters long plus the extra characters for the file name. It exceeded the 256 character limit and I couldn't access it from a Windows computer (using SAMBA) as it was too long. But.... using UMS, my LG TV was able to drill...

Re: UMS won't play long file names
On a different note, I see you are using the LG-LA6200 (modified) conf file. In that you have entries for stream extensions. StreamExtensions = asf,wmv,avi,divx,mp4,m4v,mov,3gp,3g2,mkv,ts,trp,tp,mts,m2ts,vob,mpg,mpeg,mp3,jpg,jpeg,jpe,jps,mpo" As well as having most in "Supported Video Form...

Re: UMS won't play long file names
I am running LG WebOS TV's
I just renamed a video to "Extremely.Wicked.Shockingly.Evil.and.Vile.2019.1080p.NF.WEB-DL.DD5.1.H264-CMRG" and I can see and play that video.
Maybe post the full path including that video name.

Re: UMS won't play long file names
I'm thinking you have violated the windows file name limitation. This limitation includes the complete path and file name. If you are using windows 10, you can modify the registry to overcome this limit. Start the registry editor (regedit.exe) Navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\...

Re: Tabs Empty
V6.8 was working quite well for me.
Unfortunately it did not support newer versions of Mediainfo.
I then used V7.4 which supports newer versions of Mediainfo and worked quite well as well.
All versions after that have given me one problem or another.

Re: How can I add media to be read by UMS
If dane is a user directory, then should not the path be /home/dane
EG:
folders = /home/dane
folders_monitored = /home/dane
Because:
# Shared folders
# --------------
# A comma-separated list of absolute path names.

Re: CentOS 8 probs
I'm running Gentoo linux. The UMS.conf file resides in /user directory/.config/UMS/UMS.conf. Which in your case would be: /home/crimson30/.config/UMS/UMS.conf That is assuming that crimson30 is the user account which is starting UMS. These folder permission work for me (which in your case would be u...
