It looks related to MediaInfo so maybe you have a strange file that crashes MediaInfo. You can try removing/adding files to see which file is causing the crash

Note I think a lot depends on the codecs you are using which is outside the control of UMS. ExSport is right that codecs don't affect FFmpeg, only AviSynth. Thanks for the suggestion though :) SubJunk has a line on it for sure as one of the builds works fine. I just left it installed since it works...

OK, can you try copying mencoder.exe from the working PMS installation over onto the UMS one? That way we can see if it is MEncoder that is causing the problem
