Anyone know why ffmpeg sometimes uses a lot of CPU like 80%? I have the settings specified to not do any transcoding. I'm assuming it should just be streaming my video files as is. Hi the file is 13.9 gig , fat32 doesnt support that big ntfs doesnt support my tv so i have no idea how to check that Get http://fixounet.free.fr/avidemux/ and produce a 1' samplefor testing. Make sure your renderer is properly detected, and then edit the .conf file and make sure "MediaInfo = true" and do not define those media types in the "Supported" lines (see http://www.universalmediaserver.com/faq ... erSupport1)

It will depend more on what your new TV capabilities are... if it accepts soft subtitles streamed as a separate track then UMS will be able to stream it (as is the case of your current Samsung TV).
