Re: UMS Over Powerline Network
In one simple word....no Powerline Ethernet is dependant upon the type of wiring within a house/building, it can also be affected by noise/interference. If you're experiencing problems it 'might' be the powerline adaptor itself that's breaking down if your wiring is up to date.

Re: Accessing Media Server from a different Subnet
You haven't actually explained how or why this is setup like.....simple home networks do not require computers on different subnets, my apologies for being abrupt but this type of scenario for home networking is unnecessary and would require an understanding on network topology.

New Option 'Resume'
The new 'resume' option in 3 alpha.....isn't this available anyway by using the 'triangle' key whilst a film is selected, that will bring up a PS3 sub menu, with 2 of the options being play or play from beginning. Play will continue the film from the point it was stopped.

Does the same happen if you set the default player to mencoder or ffmpeg? Initially threw the same error until I closed and restarted it......then audio was out of sync....ffmpeg; worked no errors and audio was in sync.....this all seems rather strange as this was working on Saturday with VLC and n...
