I can confirm that a emptied folder clean install of 3.4.1 cured the vanishing off ps3 manual restart issue.

Still seeing this with 3.4.1 installed on top of 3.4.0 I have a feeling it has something to do with the setup wizard. UMS starts up fine on the ps3 and works fine, but disappears from the ps3 after a time, and needs to be manually restarted to show up again. Thanks. I'll have to look into this, and see if they are available when videos are released. Since I've never seen any included with a video release, I'm guessing not.

I had something running in th ebackground that was a HUGE resource hog, and once I kilt it, things worked perfectly. Thanks for pointing me in this direction. I chimed in about the possibility of using this in the ps4 thread.
