I came back to ums so i can have a media server that read iso dvd
you never fix the dvd audio on some dvd
sound is still muted

can you tell me why jumpy is now incompatible

I wanted to use ums because it reads iso files. I may just end up using a windows or ubuntin machine trandcoding is important

is it possible to use the disk drive as ram

Shouldnt all video be transcoded to the highest you renderer support.
you have 2 ffmpeg and meencoder.
Isnt upscale a option.

you do have a menu sometime that will let you pick
but when you stream with jumpy (haven't tried channels yet) you don't get the option

Create a dropbox or something with your video streams + music stream + image stream
Then add the rss stream to your web conf

This would be a way we can tell if certain streams will run on our renderer or need transcoding.
currently on my panny audio stream dont work.

There's also a folder for renderer configurations under UMS' profile folder (where UMS.conf is) and this folder is writable by default.
