Okay, UMS appears to be detecting the new config now after the clean install. I went ahead and updated my Java version too (I'll add it to the OP). And yeah, the transcode is still stopping. That is the biggest hurdle that needs to be solved. Could it be an MX Player issue? I'll add some logs anyway...

Just updated the OP with a MediaInfo of my test file.

Update: New problem, after getting sound working, playback stops at around the 1:20 mark. I cannot test if subtitles are being displayed or will be turned off after checking "disable subtitles" as there is no dialogue yet. I will attach a new debug log.

Update: I got sound working, I had to turn off "Use LPCM for Audio" in UMS > Transcoding Settings > Common Transcode Settings > Audio Settings. I would prefer to have this setting on, though. Any ideas?

Yea, the bitrate you've defined as the maximum is very high (100Mbps), if you're using 2.4GHz N, you'll find that you won't always achieve those speeds, that's why I opt for 30Mbps and not get buffer issues.
