Re: Version 1.3.0 is released
.ass subtitles are broken in this release. Almost all play with the default settings in UMS and lose all color, size and, position information as intended by the subtitler. There was one file that did play with the correct font but was very large compared to before, almost twice as big (that 1.3.0 b...

Re: Java out of memory ?
I had the same issue and posted an earlier thread. SubJunk's already fixed it for the next release.

Re: 1.2.1 Skips with Buffer Error
That version seems to fix it. I will test some other files tonight, but it works with the file in the debug log and one other that gave me problems. Also, that is the file you can use to test the "Minor Subtitle Issue" I mentioned in an earlier thread. That particular subtitler will use it...

Re: 1.2.1 Skips with Buffer Error
SubJunk,
If that's the case, it's not my doing. I uninstalled 1.2.0 and deleted the old UMS.conf. Then I left the java memoery unchanged during installation. I left the buffer at 400 in the configuration. I did this for 1.2.0 as well, it it works fine.

1.2.1 Skips with Buffer Error
When playing an .mp4 file with subtitles, I get a buffer error and the video will skip ahead in the show. This does not happen in 1.2.0.

Re: green bar corruption at top of video
I had that on one of my files. Try checking deinteralce filter. That fixed it for me on that file.

Re: Version 1.1.0 is released
I must have snagged it right when you put it up as this announcement was not up yet. I see the the maximum transcode buffer limit has be reaised to 700. Is the default still 400 (I didn't delete my UMS.conf file)? Also, is there any advantage to raising it to the max? Also, I don't know much about A...

Minor Subtitle Issue
Newer versions of PMS and UMS are working great with subtitles, with only one exception. When I use an .srt file with minor formatting (like <i> for italics, and basic color codes), it works great with .avi and .mkvs. It seems to use the .ass (top) settings as I will get yellow colored subtitles. Wh...

Re: Version 1.0.1 is released
Not a real problem, more just asthetics, the auto update download window says "PMS Media Server Auto Update".
