Thanks for the release. Looking at the changelog at github it's not clear to me if these enhancements went already to 3.0a1 or if a 3.0a2 is expected to release soon?

A quick googling seems to tie the issues to the installation of some other component using MediaInfo libraries. Did you install any other media related app recently?

IIIRC it's based on 3GPP/MPEG4 Timed Text support on MP4 streams (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/MPEG-4_Part_17). Too bad is not supported across the board in most renderers...

I'm puzzled with some MP4 files encoded with Codec ID = 20 (ie http://downloads.opencastproject.org/media/metaU_presenter.mp4 ) which in PC based players decode with same codecs as mpeg4. My renderer is a PS3. Is there any way to force serving this kind of files instead of transcoding? (ie adding &q...
