It's true, and not in a freaky cult way, either. I'm just a user of the software but I've always received a lot of help from the developers and others when I ran into snags or had questions.

Screwed up? Is that a temporary thing, like a bad build got packaged, or do you mean it's a licensing thing where you have to compile yourself from source?

Well, sort of. It's more like someone gave you a free car that drives itself most of the time and has a bunch of mechanics who are willing to work on it at no charge. And the owners manual is out of date.

Hi, Starting with 2.5.0 (and continuing with 2.6.0), a bunch of my video files stopped playing correctly. What happens is the audio plays normally, but the video races by at high speed.
