Black screen instead of movie
Hi, I'm seeing some new behavior with UMS 2.6.0 that 2.4.2 didn't have. Certain movie files won't play; all that appears is a black screen. The PS3 seems like it's starting to play, in that the screen blanks out and the "play" triangle icon appears, but then nothing happens. The PS3 shows ...

Re: Streaming issues with latest PS3 firmware update ?
That's odd, I haven't noticed that. I stream from UMS to PS3 and it looks clear and sharp.

Any differences among UMS builds on different platforms?
Hi, I've been running UMS for a while now on my Windows Home Server box. I'm thinking of moving the server OS to Linux, possibly Ubuntu + Amahi. Re: What do you run UMS on (Spec's etc....)

Re: Maximum bandwidth setting seems to be ignored
Thanks for your reply. I will try that and see how it goes. As far as going over the max bandwidth value, perhaps it's something with this particular movie. I've watched lots of movies with no issues before, but this particular one spikes up to 80 Mbps (according to the PS3) and then like I said it ...

Re: Maximum bandwidth setting seems to be ignored
Anyone else seeing this? Or is there a different way to limit the bandwidth besides that setting?
