Re: Server not found via remote connection.
Nothing wrong with disabling upnp. If That is working good for you it is OK. But..... As I mentioned before, your setup is giving you double NAT. That is not good. The easiest (and best way), is to: Leave "router 1" as it is. No need to do any port forwarding etc. Just start the DHCP serve...

Re: Server not found via remote connection.
@Lukes
And your TV/player connected to "router 1" also has acces to UMS?
Do you just want UMS access from "router 1" and "router 2"?
In your initial posts it sounded like you were trying to have UMS external to your own network.

Re: Server not found via remote connection.
@Lukes I believe that the setup you have is causing you the issues you are having, Is This how your current setup works. Devices connected by LAN cable or wireless to "Router 1" do not have access to your Server PC? But devices connected by LAN cable or wireless to "Router 2" hav...

Re: V12 Web GUI
I have just installed v13.0.1 on my Gentoo Linux headless server. The problem of not being able to save changes to SERVER SETTINGS from the web interface still persists. This has not been resolved as yet? After doing some testing, it seems that the SERVER SETTINGS to get saved but the pop-up message...

Re: Server not found via remote connection.
@Lukes Is there a reason why "router 2" is set to a different IP range than "router 1" It looks as if you have "Router 1" connected to the WAN port of "router 2" and "router 2 supplying DHCP services on a different IP range. Your system would then be gett...

Re: mp4 Playback Quality
As far as I know, that should make the playback stream.
You could try this in your renderer.conf file:
StreamExtensions = mp4
and take out the line:
Supported = f:mp4 .........................................................

Re: Install UMS on headless debian server
I have used UMS for quite some time. Sometimes I realise there is a slight problem (which I remember was not present sometime prior) and the developers ask if I can check previous versions to see which version the issue started. They can then check for changes which were made at that time in order t...

Re: Install UMS on headless debian server
I posted the above before I saw your last post. I have had problems with file names with non standard characters. UMS basically shut down when parsing the folder with the non standard characters in the file name. EG: Beyoncé To dig down further you would have to put UMS in TRACE mode and restart and...

You don't need this part in "SHARED.conf": { "file": "/opt/ums-12.0.1", "monitored": true, "metadata": true, "active": true, "type": "Folder" }, This is my SHARED.conf: [ { "file": "/home/media_mnt/Images&...
