Re: Help us improve support for your devices

It is impossible to transcode on-the-fly 4K videos unless you have the most powerfull PC. From the log I see that you only set for your TV support for mkv videos but you don't set it for mp4 videos. Then mp4 videos are transcoded not streamed. If your TV supports the mp4 video try to add the "S...

You can use either the web UMS interface called by http://myserver:9001 or may be better to use the Kodi.

Re: Is there a way to ONLY transcode Hi10p and h265 files?

Re: Copy video to PS4

Sorry I don't understand what are you speaking about. In the PS4.conf there is a Supported = f:mkv v:h264 a:aac|ac3|mp3 m:video/x-matroska Supported = f:mkv v:h264 a:aac-he n:2 m:video/x-matroska which means that any mkv videos which matches those rules will be streamed not transcoded. So where is t...

Re: Is there a way to ONLY transcode Hi10p and h265 files?

If MediaInfo is able to detect Hi10p files then it should not be so hard. Hi10p is supported on the latest HW so I suppose it should be disabled by default (Hi10p_Support = Yes/No) but enabled for latest renderers (Like Amlogic s905 TVBoxes etc...) Then UMS will easily force transcoding for nonsupp...

Re: [solved] FFmpeg, Use Font Settings, and .ass Subtitles

Just a suggestion. If this change has been approved, then perhaps the tooltip should also be changed to remove the second line about settings being applied to .ass subs or changed to read that this setting does not affect .ass subs. Thanks for the suggestion. I made it and it will be included in th...

Re: How to Map UMS to a folder location in MyBookWorld

How do you add that folder to UMS? You have to use the UMS GUI and at the Navigation/Share Settings tab click in the section Shared Folders on the icon folders and in the dialog choose the folder you want. So the smb://mybookworld folder must be visible as a folder in your OS otherwise the UMS will ...
