Re: Problem on TV Philips 55PFL8008G/78
The tv is working fine, but she is being recognized as a Panasonic. I saw this tip here on the forum, I posted the logs hoping to solve the problem permanently. I did it using the select button renderer and configured the Panasonic default for unknown devices. You are in the situation that Philips ...

Re: Problem on TV Philips 55PFL8008G/78
I don't know if you already tried this. UMS supports a lot of renderers and by default all the configurations for the renderers are enabled. That could lead to false recognition if your device registers itself in the same way as another device (using the same user-agent string). But you can disable ...

Re: Seeking and pausing on Yamaha RX-Vx73, RX-Vx75 Receivers
Test flac is a good idea yes, however this time you are right.
I checked with the last version 4.00 of the AV Controller App and Pause is not working.
Nonetheless, I'm pretty sure it worked in some previous version.
So comparing logs is no option for us right now...

Re: Seeking and pausing on Yamaha RX-Vx73, RX-Vx75 Receivers
Maybe we can do a testrun with both 673 and 773 with the same flac and see if there is any noticeble difference in the log that could help you.
I assume that you use the Yamaha AV controller app V4.00 to control your receiver?
With that app pausing is no problem on the 773.

Re: Seeking and pausing on Yamaha RX-Vx73, RX-Vx75 Receivers
Hi, Some time ago I created my own config file based upon the specs in the Yamaha manual. I have a Yamaha RX-V773. I have not tried seeking, but I can pause a song with no problems. So I don't know if it helps you in any way, but you could give it a shot. Just place both files in the renderer direct...

Re: Port for DLNA
Hi Louis, I have indeed found these settings through trial and error. And I have no experience of using UMS on other platforms than Windows 7. I agree with you that it would be nice to have information on this (also for other platforms) on the FAQ or Wiki page. But I dounderstand that the informatio...

Re: Memory leak
It might help if you post the full debug.log according to the support rules of the forum. Also important to know what kind of operating system you run UMS on. If you are using Windows, do you use the 64 bit version or the 32 bit version. On 32 bit you can only address max 4Gb internal memory, which ...

Re: No media servers were found
Well, I am glad that you made some progress.
The cause can be anything inbetween the devices.
So yes, your CPL plug, but faulty wiring too..
Maybe you can use another outlet for your your plug in such a way that you use differen wires. Or test again with a spare or borrowed plug.
Good luck.

Re: No media servers were found
I highly suspect that have to change some setting in your bbox.
Or you have a firewall issue either on your UMS pc and/or the bbox.

Hi, In your log I could see UMS starting normally: INFO 2014-03-24 21:19:39.229 [main] Created socket: /192.168.1.8:5001 DEBUG 2014-03-24 21:19:39.348 [main] Sending ALIVE... DEBUG 2014-03-24 21:19:39.389 [main] Reading uuid: default: null, current: "590dac68-11a4-4b7a-962c-7151223e008e" I...
