Re: Any plugin available for web stored m3u files?
Is there any plugin or method which will list and playback this content for UMS Try adding an item like this to your WEB.conf : videostream.Web,MyServer=mylist,http://myserver.my/Video/mylist.m3u But it will likely have similar seek/transcode constraints. Nope does not work :( a folder (myserver) a...

Re: Any way to install more than one version at once?
What I usually do is download the latest compiled snapshot with dependencies from Jenkins (http://universalmediaserver-ci.hopto.org:9999/job/ums%20trunk/) and then rename the jar files to keep different versions I want to test. The active one will be whatever you renamed as ums.jar (if there was an...

Re: Sony Bravia EX devices broken again
Have responded to that post now about version 5.2.2 sorry for the delay. I think the issue is now solved in version 5.2.2SubJunk wrote:Hi Paradox, you said in a release thread that you're still having issues with the Bravia. Is it the same issue as the one that was fixed in this thread? So it was un-fixed?

Any way to install more than one version at once?
Stupid question which may have been answered before (i did a quick search but did not find anything definitive). But on windows is there a way to install more than a single version of UMS at once? Sometimes new releases have minor niggles and it would be nice if you could go back and forth between a...

Re: Version 5.2.2 is released

Anyway have just reinstalled and now it seems to transcode correctly  No idea why tried everything to replicate the issue of it transcoding to AVC(TS) rather than MPEG-2 but could not. Re: Version 5.2.2 is released
Ill re-install it this week ( is there anyway to have more than one version installed at a time??? uninstalling and re-installing versions that do not work for just logs is a bit of a pain) And post the log in another new thread as it does not appear you can attach files in the announcements section...

Re: Sony TV can't play files on UMS
Is this on all versions of UMS or have youonly tried version 5.2.x and higher? None of the 5.2.x versions work properly on my Bravia either (different issue to yours) but returning to 5.1.2 cures the issues i have, that may be worth a go.
