[Headless Ubuntu 16.04] - cannot start UMS GUI

Post by doggie015 » Tue Oct 17, 2017 10:38 pm

Hi, I have installed UMS and have it working as a service - but the service appears to be scanning all folders despite setting folders in the relevant config file - I tried to fire up the GUI (After stopping the service to avoid conflicts) - but I get the following error

Code: Select all

Exception in thread "main" java.lang.IllegalAccessError: superclass access check failed: class com.jgoodies.looks.windows.WindowsLookAndFeel (in unnamed module @0x6af93788) cannot access class com.sun.java.swing.plaf.windows.WindowsLookAndFeel (in module java.desktop) because module java.desktop does not export com.sun.java.swing.plaf.windows to unnamed module @0x6af93788

I have previously had success in starting the GUI - any ideas on how to fix this?

It seems to be related to your Java installation. Which JVM are you using?
