UMS 5 on LMDE 'content cannot be played' on ps3/xbox
Hi There,
I'm on LMDE 1 x64 with UMS 5. My iPhone with Airplayer works with all the videos streamed from UMS, but neither my Xbox or my PS3 will play any video at all - they come up with 'content cannot be played'.
I have searched these forums heavily to do my research, there are random entries saying it might be a subtitle issue. I tried forcing UMS to use ffmpeg for subs, then I tried disabling subs entirely, nothing works. Also I'm not sure whether the config file to edit is /etc/UMS.sh or /var/UMS/UMS.config. Either way I tried editing both for troubleshooting, nothing work. Also I am working in headless mode.
Is UMS 64bit or 32. I have only the 64bit codecs installed for instance. I dunno, I'm out of ideas. Please someone advise.
