No GUI after 3 questions

Okay, I finally managed to get the latest UMS working on Ubuntu Server 15.0.4. When I start the service it brings up the GUI. I answer the questions, and afterwords it disappears, I can't see the GUI anywhere, no trace except that the Java service is still there. The server doesn't show up anywhere too, which is confusing. I have to restart it, and every time I start it it re-asks the questions.
