Installing UMS on an Rpi 2

Post by wevans59 »

I was wondering if it was possible to set up UMS on the Raspberry Pi 2, I wouldn't mind overclocking it a bit if that meant less stuttering for example.
Thanks in advance, wevans59

Usually those SoCs aren't powerful enough for transcoding (unless you have custom drivers taking advantage of specific hardware assistance), just enough for serving and probably remuxing and maybe transcoding audio only.
Did you try minidlna?
