Share a folder from another disk(partition)

Post by marlonmrn » Fri Feb 19, 2016 12:10 pm

Hello,
I'm using Elementary OS(Debian based), first of all, congratulations on your work, it is the best DLNA server I found. 0 problems so far, just one question :D

Straight to the point: How I share a folder from another partition?
All of my movies are in a different partition from my OS, it's a dedicated partition to my files (most a backup, but ok).
It's really annoying (and time-costy) have to copy every film before I watch it.

When I try to add another folder to the shared's, I can only see the mount point ( / ) to inside. I cant select another partitions, how do I do this?
(partition were mounted)

Thank you, Marlon

Try one more level up. There you will see "media". Open that folder and see what's there.
