[Solved] UMS will not start

HI Iam Using Mac OSX version 10.9.4. Have latest version of UMS 4.0.0 & Java. 7 installed . UMS icon just sits in the dock .Cannot open or see any user interface . Any help would be appreciated. Thankyou.

I'll check this evening for the issue on Mavericks. do any other versions work, like 3.6.4?

Ive been having this issue for the past few releases the last version that worked is 3.6.1. All I see is the icon on the dock screen, nothing else shows up. I'm running OSX 10.7.5, Java 7 Update 67.

Iamjohn, which version are you using, Official (java 6) or the Java 7 labeled version?

Did you try to copy the icon from the newly downloaded version or are you using the icon from a previous install.

First try to start up UMS directly from the application folder or through launchpad.
Sometimes the 'older' dock icon is not properly linked to the correct folder/file.

Next option is go to : HD/user/Library/Application Support and fully delete the UMS folder and try to set up UMS from the start.
BE AWARE THAT USING THIS OPTION WILL CAUSE YOU TO LOOSE ALL PREVIOUS SETTINGS !!!

When none of the above will do it's job , try to download the file again and install it all over.

Same problem here with Lion Server 10.7.5, last version that works for me is UMS 3.6.0

Tried UMS 4.0.2 for Java 6 and 7 today, but no go. Java 7 is installed. Trashing the UMS folder in Application Support helps nothing. I am pretty sure it is Lion related cause on Mavericks UMS 4.0.2 works just fine.

Are you using Lion Server? You have the same error in the log?

The odd thing is that you can't use any version. I'm trying to isolate the issue, i hope i can find it
