UMS 5.* shows video still playing after stopping playback

Post by Kefran »

I have had this issue for a few versions now and I don't know when it started exactly, but I think it was around 5.1.0 (I use Java8 builds for OSX).

The problem is that when I stop playing a video by manually stopping via PS3 controller, or if the file ends, UMS shows the video is still playing (time counter still ticking over, though blue bar reduces to zero). Sometimes it can show the video has been playing back for many hours, even though it's not.

It's not a big deal for me given it clears when I start playing a new video, so there is no loss of functionality. However I did notice back in the early revisions of v5 that UMS memory allocation would reduce after playback was stopped --which was great! Unfortunately this is not happening for me anymore.

I have attached debug logs.

It would be great if this is sorted, as I suspect the memory reduction feature would return --which I look forward to.

Thanks for a great product guys!! :)
