3.5.1 - Samsung Mobile ~50%

Post by DeFlanko »

So i was only able to get VIDEO to play back on my SGS3... no other device...

i think i need to revisit how devices are detected because my NOte 3 was detected as Samsung AllShare.

Logs soon to come.

Fun Fact -- the Note 3 User agent is that of the same UserAgent Search as the Samsung AllShare.

SGS3:

Code: Select all

User-Agent: Dalvik/1.6.0 (Linux; U; Android 4.3; SGH-T999 Build/JSS15J)
SGNote3:

Code: Select all

User-Agent: Dalvik/1.6.0 (Linux; U; Android 4.4.2; SM-N900T Build/KOT49H)
But when i use the "Video Player" it morphs into this:

Code: Select all

USER-AGENT: DLNADOC/1.50 SEC_HHP_[Mobile]DeFlanko SM-N900T/1.0

So there you have it... Samsung Mobile devices might be phased out just as quick as they came in... Because of the New KitKat update and Video Player.

but you're still able to stream video to your note 3?
I've never been able to get my note 3 to work with ums.
It see's ums and ums detects it as allshare but when I try to go into it with my note 3 it says "contents location is not available. check network status and connected devices."
I've got other device and those work fine and the only log entries I can find is if it's set to trace:

I'm a little baffled :( and haven't found any similar complaints anywhere.
Any help is appreciated, thanks.

Ohh use Skifta first.... not allshare...

when i said allshare i meant the UMS Conf file not the allshare app in the samsung device.
